We just returned home from Hamilton Island two days ago which is situated in North Queensland, famous for its 30+ degree days and never ending sunshine. The weather was absolutely beautiful ranging between 27-32 degrees during the day and staying well above 20 overnight.
I spent the whole time in short beach dresses, shorts and bikinis and that, is the perfect weather for me.
My fiancé on the other hand..? Well he lived in Sydney for quite some time and heat does get to him a little bit. He does prefer a cool breeze to snuggle up to and was complaining a little bit on the island, but the vibe is worth the heat.
So there you have it, I am Australian through and through and the second it drops below 23 degrees, I have a jumper on.
