It is so overwhelmingly ironic that this comes up because in Queensland, where we live, it’s just not that cold.

However.

We are currently in New Zealand where it is damn freezing! And I don’t handle it well 😂

It was four degrees where we woke up this morning, my fingers felt like frozen popsicles and even my fiancé was actually complaining.

The best thing is he almost only packed shorts saying “it won’t be that cold it’s not that much further south than home.” He was right about the latter, the former though he was very very wrong.

It is so incredibly beautiful here, it’s also why I have been mildly quiet as we’re here spending time with my fam bam before the big day 💍.

I’m so grateful for this life. So grateful for my fiancé.
