Easiest thing I’ve ever written.

“Welcome to the shit show.”

Look, no. I am not an extreme pessimist. But I am cynical and I have accepted that portion of my personality.

The one thing I know without a shadow of a doubt, without some form of humorous outlet, I would not have made it this far in life.

While cynicism isn’t appropriate in all conversations, I do have my close circle of fellow cynicals who understand when I say things like..

And then continue on my day with a smile on my face.

Nobody’s perfect, I get cranky. And if I’m laughing at life throwing me some new trauma, let me be delulu for a hot minute so I can regain my thoughts and make good decisions rather than letting the intrusive thoughts win and telling everyone how I really feel.

Life is love and light, but it is also acknowledging our short comings and loving ourselves anyway.
