I have this internal monologue of sassy nonsense forever going on in my head. It always has back chat readily available along with this savage ability to call people on their shit.
For a long time, I believed I should just keep my mount shut because have the things I say, I guess came across as inappropriate, therefore people would tell me to be quiet instead of say what it is I wanted to say.
These days, my attitude is, if you don’t like what I’m saying. Go away.
I’m no longer interested in minimising myself to fit into your tiny little box. If you don’t like me, it’s none of my business. And quite frankly.. I just don’t care.
My humour is mildly dark because my early life was filled with trauma. Cynicism became a copying mechanism and counteracting toxic positivity with some form of sassy, humorous comment because my entire personality.
Also, my fiancé.
He is bold and ambitious, but his common sense is a little lacking at times. He handles my sass and my bluntness with incredible resilience and reciprocation.
Laughter is the best medicine, but it is also the strongest manifestor of abundance and happiness. We’re here to experience love and happiness and if you aren’t surrounded by those who bring you the above mentioned, what the damn hell are you doing with your life guys.
Your people should make you laugh until your abs hurt on a regular basis. My best friend of 23 years lives with me, partially because she has just moved 3000 kms to Queensland, but also because my fiancé is away 70% of the time so I do enjoy the company. But when we’re together, everything is funny. Video games, shit talking, doing a puzzle, cooking..
